What FTP client software can I use ?
Recommended FTP software for Mac or PC:
- FileZilla Client, Mac and PC, free (https://filezilla-project.org)
- Cyberduck, Mac and PC, free (https://cyberduck.io/)
FTP software not recommended based on our user's experience:
- WinSCP (slow uploads)
Connection settings
SFTP (encrypted)
- Protocol: SFTP
- Server/Host: cndmusic.net
- Port: 21000
- User Name: {a three letter code. Login and click on the tab My Account to view it}
- Password: {same as the User Name}
FTP (not encrypted)
- Protocol: FTP
- Server/Host: cndmusic.net
- Port: 21
- User Name: {a three letter code. Login and click on the tab My Account to view it}
- Password: {same as the User Name}
- Mode: Active Mode (preferred) or Passive Mode
FTP over TLS (encrypted connection)
- Protocol: FTP over TLS
- Server/Host: cndmusic.net
- Port: 21
- User Name: {a three letter code. Login and click on the tab My Account to view it}
- Password: {same as the User Name}
- Mode: Active Mode (preferred) or Passive Mode
When connecting for the first time, you have to accept the self signed certificate.
